Kentucky, Villanova, Duke, Wisconsin receive No. 1 NCAA tournament seeds

The 2015 NCAA tournament bracket is set, with Kentucky, Villanova, Duke and Wisconsin receiving the No. 1 seeds from the selection committee on Sunday.

In terms of overall seeding, Kentucky grabbed the top overall seed with the following three schools slotted in that order.

Kentucky enters the NCAA tournament undefeated at 34-0 after defeating Arkansas in the SEC tournament championship game on Sunday. Arkansas never led in the game, allowing Kentucky to win its 28th SEC tournament.

As the NCAA tournament begins, it's Kentucky vs. Everybody Else

[daily_cut.college basketball]Seeded in the Midwest regional (Cleveland), Kentucky will play the winner of the Hampton-Manhattan play-in game on Thursday.

Villanova finished 32-2 after defeating Xavier in the Big East tournament championship on Saturday. The Wildcats' last loss came Jan. 19 at Georgetown. In the East regional (Syracuse, N.Y.), they will play Lafayette on Thursday.

Duke received the No. 1 seed in the South (Houston) despite losing to Notre Dame in the ACC tournament semifinals. The Blue Devils finished 29-4 and will play the winner of UNF and Robert Morris on Friday.

Wisconsin grabbed the final No. 1 seed in the West (Los Angeles) by defeating Michigan Statein Sunday's Big Ten tournament championship. The Badgers will face Coastal Carolina on Friday.
