EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) Michigan State running back Delton Williams has been suspended from all team-related activities, and court records show he was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of brandishing a firearm in public.

Coach Mark Dantonio released a one-sentence statement Tuesday saying Williams was suspended.

Online records for Judicial District 54B listed an offense date of March 16 for Williams, and the records showed he pleaded not guilty Tuesday.

Williams ran for 316 yards on 54 carries last season as a sophomore, finishing third on the team in rushing behind seniors Jeremy Langford and Nick Hill.
