Marquette junior forward Steve Taylor Jr. is transferring.

Marquette junior forward Steve Taylor Jr. is transferring, the team announced on Wednesday.
Taylor averaged 5.9 points and 5.0 rebounds this season for the Golden Eagles, playing in 22.1 minutes per game. He scored a season-high 20 points on Nov 18 against Ohio State.

Taylor played in 90 games (17 starts) in three seasons at Marquette and has one year of eligibility left.
"We want to thank Steve for his contributions to the program, not only this season, but his entire career," coach Steve Wojciechowski said. "We also wish him the best of luck as he explores other opportunities to continue both his academic and athletic careers."
The Golden Eagles finished 13-19 (4-14 Big East) this season in their first year under Wojciechowski.
