Syracuse sophomores Ron Patterson and B.J. Johnson plan to transfer from the school, Syracuse.com reports.

Johnson's father told Syracuse.com of his son's plan, while Patterson's AAU coach confirmed his intention to transfer. Neither player has chosen a new school.

The NCAA recently concluded an eight-year investigation of the Syracuse basketball program for a number of alleged violations. Earlier this month, the NCAA handed coach Jim Boeheim a nine-game ACC suspension, docked 108 wins from Boeheim's win total and put the program on five years probation. Syracuse self-imposed a postseason ban this season.

Earlier this week, Boeheimannounced he would retire in three years, while athletic director Daryl Gross stepped down from his position effective immediately.

Patterson averaged 2.6 points in 13.9 minutes per game this season, while Johnson averaged 4.2 points in 14.6 minutes.
