Caupain got the ball to Shaquille Thomas, who dunked it to give Cincinnati a 24-21 lead with 3:43 remaining in the half.

The Bearcats would go scoreless for the remainder of the half, though, as the Wildcats went on a 10-0 run to take a 31-24 halftime lead.
Coreontae DeBerry had six points and two blocks in the first half for Cincinnati, while Karl-Anthony Towns had eight points and one block for Kentucky.
