Lon Kruger becomes first coach to win tournament game at five schools

Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger became the first coach to win an NCAA tournament game at five schools with the Sooners' Round of 64 victory over Albany on Friday.
Kruger has now won a tournament game at Oklahoma, Kansas State, Florida, Illinois and UNLV in his career.

Kruger is in his fourth season as Sooners coach. Oklahoma made the last two NCAA tournaments as well, but lost its opening game.
For his career, Kruger has a 559–352 overall record.
With the win over Albany, Oklahoma moves to 23-10 on the season. The Sooners play the winner of Providence vs. Dayton in the Round of 32 on Sunday.
