Report: Florida State attempting to schedule SEC foes in 2017, 2019

Florida State is attempting to schedule two major SEC teams as part of its future non-conference football schedule, Tomahawk Nationwrote Monday.
The Seminoles are reportedly close to a deal to play 2009, 2011 and 2012 national champions Alabama in Atlanta.
The game would open up the 2017 season for both teams, and pit the winners of four of the past seven national championships.
The game could potentially be played in the new Atlanta Falcons stadium, which is slated to open that year.

The Auburn matchup is more tenuous, a source told the Florida State SBNation website. Organizers are targeting a date during the 2019 season in Jacksonville, Florida.
Florida State last played Alabama in 2007. The Seminoles last played Auburn in the 2013 season when the teams met in the national championship game.
Florida State won its most-recent games against both foes.
