Vanderbilt center Damian Jones will forgo the NBA draft and return to school for his junior season, reports ESPN's Jeff Goodman. 

Jones averaged 14.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in his sophomore year for the Commodores, leading the team in all three categories. Following the season, he was voted First-Team All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team by the conference's coaches.

As a freshman, the 6'10" center averaged 11.3 points and 5.7 rebounds.

Vanderbilt went 21–14 this season, coming in seventh in the SEC with a 9–9 conference record. The Commodores earned a bid to the NIT, where they lost to Stanford in the quarterfinal round.
