Report: Missouri forward Johnathan Williams III considering transfer
Missouri forward Johnathan Williams III is considering transferring from the program, according to multiple media outlets.
CBSSports.com’s Gary Parrish first reported the news about the possibility of a transfer, while NBCSports.com’s Rob Dauster says that Williams was expected to announce that he is leaving the school.
Williams, a 6’8” 225-pound sophomore from Memphis, led Missouri in points and rebounds in this season, but only averaged 10.9 points in conference play.
Williams averaged 5.8 points and 6.5 rebounds as a freshman after being named a top-50 recruit by Rivals.com.

Missouri finished 9-23 overall and 3-15 in the Southeastern Conference in the first season under head coach Kim Anderson.
