Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn is not happy that Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff are working at a satellite camp in Prattville, Ala., in June.

The SEC has a rule against teams holding camps more than 50 miles from campus, but that rule doesn’t apply to Michigan. Michigan’s staff will be in Alabama on June 5 and also reportedly is scheduled to visit camps in Florida, Pennsylvania, and California.

Malzahn wants the rule to be applied to every conference.

"I think the SEC coaches last year made it clear that we'd like it to be that way throughout the country," Malzahn said to the Montgomery Advertiser. “That was a stance after our last spring meetings and I still feel the same."

The staffs of college football programs have been known to serve as a guests of camps as a way to tap into some of the talent-rich states, such as Georgia, Florida and Texas.

Malzahn has a 20-7 record in his two seasons at Auburn, with a BCS championship and an Outback Bowl appearance.
