Former Alabama defensive lineman Dee Liner tweeted on Friday that he is transferring to Arkansas State.

Former Alabama defensive lineman Dee Liner tweeted on Friday that he is transferring to Arkansas State.

Liner announced in February that he received his release from the Crimson Tide.

Since arriving at Alabama as a four-star recruit in the class of 2013, Liner has recorded three tackles over four games in two seasons.

Arkansas State posted a 7-6 record last season, including a 5-3 mark in Sun Belt play.
