Gonzaga forward Domantas Sabonis will return to the Bulldogs for his sophomore season, head coach Mark Few told ESPN on Saturday.

Sabonis, a 6'10", 231-pound forward from Lithuania, averaged 21.6 minutes as a freshman, scoring 9.7 points and grabbing 7.1 rebounds per game.

[daily_cut.college basketball]In Gonzaga's four NCAA tournament games, he averaged 11.5 points and eight rebounds. The Bulldogs, who opened as the No. 2 seed in the South Region, lost to Duke in the Elite Eight.

In Gonzaga's Round of 32 win over Iowa, Sabonis scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench.

Aside from Sabonis, Gonzaga will return third-team Associated Press All-American Kyle Wiltjer and 7'1" center Przemek Karnowsk, but loses guards Gary Bell, Jr., and Kevin Pangos from the backcourt.

Sabonis is the son of former NBA hall of famer Arvydas Sabonis, who played seven seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers.
