Oakland head coach Greg Kampe posted a photo of the updated basketball court at the Athletics Center O'rena on Tuesday.

The new court is stained mostly black and features the team's Golden Grizzly logo at halfcourt. Before the overhaul, the court was only stained black within the three-point perimeter on each end.

The out-of-bounds lines have not been painted yet, but Kampe said they will be white and that the blue in the photo is painter's tape. The coach told the The Detroit News that the school had wanted to have even more of a "playground-court feel."

"We looked at trying to get the nets colored black (or) grey like chain-link nets, but there's a rule that the nets have to be white," Kampe said. "We have graduation [in three weeks] and it has to be done before graduation, so we're hoping that within the next 10 days it's done."

The Grizzlies went 16–17 last season, including an 11–5 mark in the Horizon League.
