Roy Williams donates Lucas Oil seat to memory of Butch Ryan

Roy Williams has donated a seat at the NCAA championship game to the memory of Butch Ryan

North Carolina men's basketball coach Roy Williams has donated a seat at Monday night's NCAA championship game between Wisconsin and Duke to the memory of Butch Ryan, Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan's father. 

Sect. 140, Row A, Seat 13 will be left open for tonight's game.

Seat 13 in Row A of Section 140 at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium will be left empty in Butch Ryan's honor. He died in 2013. 

A Wisconsin State-Journal obituary of Butch Ryan noted he would often, "accompany his son to the Final Four and steal the show with his storytelling in the hotel lobby."
