OXFORD, Miss. (AP) The three-man race to be Mississippi's quarterback will likely continue into preseason camp.

Ole Miss went through its spring game on Saturday with most of the focus on Chad Kelly, Ryan Buchanan and Devante Kincade, who are competing to replace Bo Wallace under center.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Kelly, a junior college transfer who arrived on campus in January, completed 9 of 19 passes for a team-high 104 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Coach Hugh Freeze said Buchanan had a slight lead in the competition going into the spring game. The sophomore completed just 5 of 16 passes for 49 yards and an interception.

Ole Miss is trying to build on a 9-4 season that included a trip to the Peach Bowl.
