Curtis Robinson, a heralded linebacker prospect who attends Mater Dei (Calif.) High, announced on Twitter on Monday that he has committed to Stanford.

Robinson, who also drew scholarship offers from USC, Notre Dame and Ohio State, among other programs, is the No. 168 player in the class of 2016, according to the recruiting website Rivals.com.

Though Robinson is ranked as the No. 15 "athlete," he projects as an outside linebacker. As a junior last season, he recorded 40 total tackles, four sacks and one interception, according to MaxPreps.

Robinson is the fourth player in the class of 2016 to commit to the Cardinal, joining four-star quarterback K.J. Costello, three-star defensive tackle Bo Peek and four-star tight end Kaden Smith.
