Heralded recruit Rabb commits to Cal

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) Heralded power forward prospect Ivan Rabb has committed to play next season at California.

Rabb announced on Twitter on Monday night that he will sign a letter of intent with the Golden Bears. Rabb is ranked the sixth-best recruit in the country by ESPN and is the most high-profile signee since coach Cuonzo Martin took over last April.

The 6-foot-10 Rabb played for Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland and helped lead his team to a state title last month.

Rabb was also considering Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky and UCLA.
