Mustapha Heron, a highly regarded junior prospect who attends Sacred Heart (Conn.) High, has decommitted from Pittsburgh, according to a report from ESPN.com's Adam Finkelstein.
Heron committed to Pittsburgh in January 2014, when Barry "Slice" Rohrssen was a member of the Panthers' staff.
Rohrssen spent last season at Kentucky before joining the staff of new St. John's coach Chris Mullin earlier this month.
Rivals.com ranks Heron, a 6'3'' shooting guard, the No. 23 player in the class of 2016.

I think it'd be safe to classify St. John's as the new team to beat for Mustapha Heron. Slice Rohrssen has a strong connection to his father
