Texas point guard Isaiah Taylor announced his intention to return for his junior season on Saturday night.

In an Instagram post, Taylor wrote, "Glad to be a Longhorn ! Feels good. Looking to get this new era started. Love the guys on the team. Spending another year with my teammates and coaching staff is a great feeling. #HookEmForever #Shaka #CTMD."

The Longhorns hired Shaka Smart as head coach earlier this month after he had spent six seasons at VCU.

Taylor averaged 13.1 points, 4.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 31.5 minutes per game last season, but missed 10 games after breaking his wrist against Iowa in the 2K Classic in late November.
