Five-star small forward Jaylen Brown committed to California over Michigan on Friday, reports Scout.com's Evan Daniels.

Brown, a 6'7", 200-pound small forward from Marietta, Ga. (Wheeler), picked Cal over offers from Kentucky, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Michigan, North Carolina and UCLA, among others. The McDonald's All-American was also reportedly high on Michigan.

Brown is ranked No. 3 on Rivals.com's list of 2015 recruits. He joins fellow five-star recruit, power forward Ivan Rabb, four-star shooting guard Tyson Jolly and three-star small forward Davon Dillard in Cal's 2015 recruiting class. All four are within Rivals.com's top 150 prospects for 2015.

Cal finished 18–15 (7–11 Pac-12) last season, the first under former Tennessee coach Cuonzo Martin. The Golden Bears will return guards Tyrone Wallace—an All-Pac-12 point guard—Jordan Mathews and Jabari Bird next season, three of their top four scorers from last season.

Martin appeared to celebrate Brown's commitment on Twitter Friday night.
