Stanford, San Diego State announce home-and-home series

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) Stanford and San Diego State are set to play a future home-and-home series.

The schools announced Tuesday that the Cardinal will play at San Diego State in September 2017, and the Aztecs will visit Stanford Stadium in September 2018.

The programs played a four-game series from 1985 to 1988, but haven't met since. Stanford is 3-1 against San Diego State, winning the previous three meetings.
