Shooting guard Tyus Battle announced Monday that he has committed to Michigan.

Battle is the No. 14 player in the class of 2016, according to Rivals.com.

The Gill St. Bernards (N.J.) School product also drew scholarship offers from Duke, Louisville and Syracuse, among other programs.

The 6'5,'' 180-pound Battle visited Michigan earlier this month.

He is the third player in the 2016 class to commit to the Wolverines, joining four-star center Jon Teske and three-star power forward Austin Davis.

Michigan loses rising senior forward Caris LeVert and rising senior guard Spike Albrecht after this season. The Wolverines finished 16–16 (8–10 Big Ten) in 2014–15 under coach John Beilein.
