Pete Carroll to be inducted into USC Hall of Fame on Saturday
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll will receive an honorary degree from USC on Friday and will be inducted into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, according to ESPN's Arash Markazi.
Carroll was the head coach of the Trojans from 2001–2009. He amassed a 97–19 record at USC, however 14 of those wins were later vacated, including the entire 2004 season that culminated in the Trojans winning the BSC national championship.
Under Carroll, USC made seven consecutive BCS bowl appearances and spent 33 straight weeks as the Associated Press's No. 1-ranked team.
In January 2010, Carroll left USC to become the head coach of the NFL's Seahawks. He previously had coaching stints in the NFL in the 80s and 90s, including being head coach of the New York Jets and New England Patriots.

Oakland Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio is also among those who will be inducted into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday.
