Former Michigan forward Max Bielfeldt will transfer to Indiana for his final year of eligibility.

Former Michigan forward Max Bielfeldt will transfer to Indiana for his final year of eligibility, he announced on Tuesday. 

Bielfeldt is allowed to transfer within the Big Ten because the conference approved his waiver request to do so. He also considered considered Iowa State, Nebraska and DePaul.

The 6'7" forward is a fifth-year graduate transfer. He averaged 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 14.5 minutes last season as his playing time was nearly tripled from the 2013–14 season.

The Hoosiers dismissed forwards Hanner Mosquera-Perea and Devin Davis last month. On Monday, ESPN reported that Mosquera-Perera is expected to transfer to East Tennessee State.

Indiana is scheduled to play at Michigan next season.
