Ole Miss guard Stefan Moody was arrested Saturday for first-offense DUI, reportsThe Clarion-Ledger.

The Lafayette County Detention Center’s jail docket shows Moody was booked at 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning and released on bond nearly four hours later. An Ole Miss spokesperson told The Clarion-Ledger the school was aware of the arrest and gathering more information.

Moody, Ole Miss’ leading scorer last season and the SEC’s top returning scorer, underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left lower leg on June 8 and was expected to miss eight to 12 weeks. He was expected to recover for the start of team workouts in the fall.

Moody enters his senior season at Ole Miss after leading the Rebels with 16.6 points and adding 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists as a junior, when he was a first-team All-SEC selection. Last season was Moody’s first at Ole Miss; he began at Florida Atlantic but was dismissed due to academic issues and later spent one season at Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas.

Ole Miss finished 21–13 last season, reaching the second round of the NCAA tournament before losing to Xavier.
