Five-star tight end Isaac Nauta has decommitted from Florida State, the recruit announced Tuesday.

Nauta is ranked No. 1 in the country at his position by Rivals.

"I have decommitted to make sure that I make the best possible decision for my future in becoming a man and developing as a student athlete," Nauta said in a note he posted to Twitter.

Nauta's father told the Tallahassee Democrat his son decommitted after taking unofficial visits to TCU, Texas and LSU. Nauta intends to take all five of his official visits before making a commitment, according to his father.

Florida State currently has the No. 3 recruiting class for 2016, according to Rivals.
