Auburn football schedule: Opponents, times, TV
After an 8–5 season ended with a loss in the Outback Bowl, Auburn will hope to rebound in 2015 beginning with the Sept. 5 season opener against Louisville.
On offense, junior Jeremy Johnson takes over for Nick Marshall at quarterback and will lead a unit that is both experienced and full of potential. Seven starters return in total.
On defense, the Tigers need improvement after finishing ninth or worse among SEC teams in nine major categories. Will Muschamp takes over for Ellis Johnson at defensive coordinator, coming back to Auburn after leading the Tigers’s defense from 2006–07. Last year’s three top tacklers also return in senior linebackers Cassanova McKinzy and Kris Frost, plus junior safety Johnathan Ford.
