Four-star CB David Long commits to Stanford
Four-star 2016 cornerback David Long has committed to Stanford, he announced on Twitter on Thursday.
A native of Los Angeles,, Long is ranked as the No. 8 cornerback, No. 25 player in California and No. 133 player nationally by Rivals.com.
Long held offers from every school in the Pac-12 Conference as well as many others, including Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.
The 6'0" Long told 247Sports that Stanford was a “dream school” of his.
"Coming into high school Stanford is the school I always wanted to go to,” he said. “That's why I chose to go to Loyola High School, too, because it would prepare me for a school like Stanford. I know I'll get a great education there and I really like Stanford's coaches, too. I love how Stanford plays hard-nosed football.”
