Class of 2016 shooting guard Jagan Mosely has committed to Georgetown, he told NJ.com on Monday

Mosley, who plays for New Jersey prep powerhouse St. Anthony’s, had 18 scholarship offers and chose the Hoyas over Rhode Island, Harvard, Xavier, SMU and Georgia Tech. He has a 4.2 high school GPA and said he may major in computer science.

Mosely visited the Georgetown campus two weeks ago.

“I just fell in love with it,” Mosely said. “I fell in love with the campus, a couple players and coaches. It felt like home to me.”

Mosley’s older brother, Cheddi, averaged 8.6 points per game as a freshman for Boston University last season.

Recruiting service Rivals.com ranks Mosley as the No. 115 player in his class. One of his opponents called him “probably the most explosive player in Jersey,” according to NJ.com.

Mosley’s high school coach is Bob Hurley, the father of Rhode Island head coach Dan Hurley and Arizona State head coach Bobby Hurley.
