TCU vs. Minnesota: Game time, live stream, TV coverage
After a 12–1 campaign saw TCU win the Peach Bowl and climb to No. 3 in the season-ending rankings, the Horned Frogs open the 2015 season Sept. 3 at Minnesota. Quarterback Trevone Boykin will begin a Heisman Trophy campaign after passing for a school-record 3,901 yards, rushing for 707 yards and scoring 42 touchdowns last season. TCU returns plenty of experience on offense and will look to get the season off on the right foot.
Minnesota came close to winning the Big Ten West division last season with an 8-5 record, but returns just four starters on offense. The Gophers may rely on a more experienced defense to keep games close, including four seniors in the secondary. High-powered TCU will provide a serious early-season test as Minnesota prepares for its Big Ten slate, which begins Oct. 3 at Northwestern.
