Arkansas vs. UTEP: Game time, live stream, TV coverage
After a 7–6 year that ended in a Texas Bowl win over Texas, Arkansas kicks off its 2015 season on Sept. 5 at home against UTEP. Senior quarterback Brandon Allen returns after throwing for 2,285 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions as a junior. Arkansas also returns four starters on the offensive line. The Razorbacks lost five starters from a defense that ranked No. 15 nationally in points per game allowed and No. 22 in rushing yards per game allowed last year. The Razorbacks are ranked No. 22 in SI.com's preseason top 25.
Coming off a 7-6 season, UTEP will look to return to a bowl game in head coach Sean Kugler's second season and make a splash in Conference USA. The Miners return key personnel on both sides of the ball, but will look to sophomore quarterback Mack Leftwich, who redshirted in 2014 and started four games in 2013, to lead the offense. UTEP has gone 1-8 against SEC teams historically and has lost 28 consecutive road games to ranked opponents.
