The No. 15 Ole Miss Rebels enter their second game off a commanding 76–3 victory over the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks. Ole Miss piled up 338 yards and five touchdowns on the ground, led by sophomore Eugene Brazley’s 88. It was the highest-scoring game the school has had since 1935.
Fresno State allowed just 247 yards in their first game of the year, a 34–13 win over Albeline Christian. They recorded five sacks and two interceptions.
On Saturday, Ole Miss will host Fresno State in Oxford, Miss.
