How to watch Boise state vs. BYU: Live stream, TV information
Boise State opened its season with a win over Washington, now led by former Broncos coach Chris Petersen, 16–13. A strong defensive effort coupled with 89 rushing yards and two first half touchdowns from Jeremy McNichols bolstered Boise State, who begin another season looking to go undefeated and enter the conversation for a playoff spot.
The Broncos face an intriguing test in BYU this week. The Cougars also enter the game off a season-opening victory, a 33–28 last-second upset over Nebraska. Receiver Mitch Matthews hauled in the memorable Hail Mary grab to knock off the Huskers, and freshman Tanner Mangum stepped up in wake of a season-ending injury to quarterback Taysom Hill. Mangum will take the reins of the Cougars offense again Saturday in what should be a challenge, particularly given his inexperience.
