New Hampshire defeats Colgate 26-8

HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) Dalton Crossan and Trevon Bryant combined for 169 yards and two touchdowns to lead New Hampshire to a 26-8 win over Colgate on Saturday.

Bryant, who had 70 yards on 10 carries, scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter to cap a 12-play, 66-yard drive. Crossan, who had 96 yards on 21 carries, went in from 4 yards to finish an 11-play, 82-yard drive in the second quarter.

Sean Goldrich, who completed 17 of 23 passes for 166 yards, connected with Jared Allison on a 12-yard score to give the Wildcats (1-1) a 20-0 lead at the half.

Christian Breda had a pair of field goals in the second half.

The Red Raiders (0-2) avoided the shutout when Jake Melville connected with Alex Greenawalt for a 13-yard score early in the fourth quarter.

New Hampshire finished 411 yards to 336 for Colgate.
