Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood has suspended wide receiver Leonte Carroo from the program indefinitely, according to NJ.com.

The suspension stems from an incident that occurred outside Rutger's home field following the teams 37-34 loss to Washington State. When asked for specifics about the incident, Flood said that he could not comment because it was subject of an active investigation.

Carroo is by far the Scarlet Knights' biggest threat at the receiving position. He currently leads the team with seven catches for 181 yards and three touchdowns. Carroo pulled in 55 receptions for 1086 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2014. His 55 catches were 30 more than second-best total on the squad.

Carroo broke Rutgers' all-time receiving touchdowns record (22) in the team's season opener against Norfolk State.

Carroo and four other players were suspended for the first half of the Norfolk State game for violating curfew.
