The Cardinals fell to Houston in their second game of the season, allowing 462 yards on defense. Louisville turned the ball over a total of four times. and rushed for just 70 yards.

Clemson (1–0) has handled its early season slate with ease thus far, beating Appalachian 41–10 in Deshaun Watson’s first game back since a torn ACL. He threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to senior Charone Peake. Clemson is ranked No. 12 in the country.
