NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) Two former Rutgers football players have been accused of stealing cash and marijuana from another student in a dorm room.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office announced the charges Tuesday, saying the robbery was in December.

Lloyd Terry was dismissed from the team last week after being arrested and accused of a role in an April home invasion robbery. Jamil Pollard, who was on the football roster last year, was arrested Monday in Camden on the alleged dorm room robbery.

Terry pleaded not guilty during a court appearance Tuesday. He remains jailed on $225,000 bail.

This month, school officials have kicked off six players and suspended a seventh for alleged criminal activity. On Monday, Rutgers athletic director Julie Hermann met with the team and expressed support for coach Kyle Flood.

Flood is being investigated for possible improper contact with a teacher about a player's grade.
