Too often do people forget that student-athletes and coaches are real people with feelings, thoughts and emotions.

This clip from the Notre Dame locker room after the team is told of Malik Zaire's season-ending injury will quickly remind you that yes, these are real people:

Feeling Luck(y)?

With Steve Patterson out as AD at Texas, one of the most prestigious and powerful positions in college athletics is vacant and while most are screaming for Mack Brown (including numerous former football players), SI's Pete Thamel has a much better option. Apparently the situation at UT became much more dire than the public was led to believe, with some athletic department employees saying the department has become a joke under Patterson and most people are embarrassed.

Toga Party

Nike recreated the toga party scene from Animal House using famous Oregon alumni and it was amazing.

Kameryn Faye Sims

Alabama receiver Cameron Sims had a pretty darn good reason for missing practice on Tuesday, as he was welcoming his daughter, Kameryn Faye Sims, into the world:

Unstoppable Cam

It's LSU-Auburn week, which means it's an appropriate time to remind everyone of when LSU learned that Cam Newton was borderline unstoppable in 2010:

"American" Football 101

Prior to the season, Cal football held an "American" Football 101 training camp for international students to help them learn a game that is completely foreign to them:

HOW DID I MISS THIS?!?!

This video from 2014 is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Frankly, I am embarrassed that I was not made aware of it until this week. However, I am also thrilled that my friend Justin Leger, a true scholar and gentleman, brought it into my life. Without further adieu, enjoy the most hilarious moment in TV news history with a report on Chris P. Bacon:
