Washington (1–1) will welcome Utah State (1–1) to Husky Stadium on Saturday for the team's final non-conference regular season matchup.

In a Week 2 win against Sacramento State, Washington's freshman running back Myles Gaskin rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Jake Browning had 326 yards passing and two touchdowns in a 49-0 victory. The 146 yards rushed by Gaskin were the third-most by a true freshman in a single game in Huskies history.

Utah State lost to No. 21 Utah in Week 2, as quarterback Chuckie Keeton passed for 256 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. The redshirt senior Keeton tied Utah State's career touchdown passes record (60) against the Utes. He currently shares the record with former quarterback Jose Fuentes.
