BYU's Tanner Magnum has led the Cougars to last-minute victories over Nebraska and Boise State by outscoring opponents 30–0 in the fourth quarter of games this season.
UCLA has cruised in its first two games of the year with a 34–16 victory over Virginia in Week 1 and a 37–3 rout of UNLV the following week. Freshman quarterback Josh Rosen has recorded 574 passing yards, four touchdowns and just one interception this season.
