Purdue freshmen defensive backs David Rose and Evyn Cooper were arrested by Purdue University Police early Wednesday morning for allegedly stealing bicycles on campus, according to The Lafayette Journal & Courier.

Purdue University Police is investigating the matter. Purdue head coach Darrell Hazell has been made aware of the incident and will let the legal process play out before taking any action.

Of the two players, only Rose has appeared in a game this season.

The Boilermakers will host Virginia Tech on Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium. The Boilermakers are 1–1 following last week's 38–14 victory over Indiana State.
