LSU's Ben Simmons drains one-handed half-court backwards shot
LSU freshman Ben Simmons is already impressing fans as he took to Instagram to share a backwards half-court shot with one hand on Thursday.
Simmons is considered by many to be one of the leading candidates to be selected No. 1 overall in the 2016 draft. Simmons was tabbed as SI's No. 1 recruit for the class of 2015 after compiling a 62-1 record, three national championships, and was named the Gatorade national player of the year and Naismith player of the year in 2015 as a senior.

Marquette guard Wally Ellenson also fired off a half-court backwards shot last year and gets extra points for holding up his phone to record the shot.
