Texas linebacker Edwin Freeman (shoulder) out 6–8 weeks

Texas redshirt freshman linebacker Edwin Freeman will miss six to eight weeks due to a shoulder injury, he told Ryan Autullo of the Austin American-Statesman. X-Rays will determine if Freeman needs surgery, he added.
Freeman has five solo tackles, two tackles for loss and a forced fumble this season.
Freeman was injured during Saturday’s game against Cal. Late in the first half, with the Bears near the goal line, Freeman went to the ground right before Cal was ready to snap the ball. Many people thought he was faking an injury to disrupt Cal’s offense.
