The Florida Gators have suspended cornerback Jalen Tabor and quarterback Treon Harris for their upcoming game against Tennessee, coach Jim McElwain confirmed Wednesday.

The Gainesville Sunreports the suspensions are for a violation of university policy. Tabor had been listed as a co-starter at cornerback with Quincy Wilson on Florida’s Week 4 depth chart. Harris was listed as a co-starter with Will Grier.

McElwain told reporters Wednesday the suspensions would only last for this Saturday’s game.

Tabor, a sophomore, has played in every game the last two years. Earlier this season, he returned an interception for a touchdown against East Carolina. Harris, who started the final six games of 2014, did not play in the Gators victory over Kentucky last week. He split snaps with Grier the first two games of the season, throwing for 269 yards and two touchdowns.
