DURHAM, N.C. (AP) Duke expects to have injured running back Jela Duncan back this week.

Coach David Cutcliffe said Thursday that ''you'll see Jela somewhere in the first quarter'' against No. 20 Georgia Tech on Saturday.

Duncan was the Blue Devils' No. 2 rusher in 2013, but hasn't played since the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game loss to Florida State that year.

Duncan missed the Chick-fil-A Bowl that year and the entire 2014 season because of a yearlong academic suspension. Then he partially tore a pectoral muscle last month on the team's first day in pads.

Shaq Powell and Shaun Wilson have been the top rushers this season for Duke (2-1). Cutcliffe says it ''remains to be seen'' whether the unit becomes a full rotation with Duncan.
