WHAT'S AT STAKE

Oregon moved past its loss to Michigan State with a 61-28 victory over Georgia State. Utah jumped three spots in the rankings to No. 18 after a 45-24 victory over Fresno State. Last year's meeting between the two teams featured one of the most unusual touchdowns in Oregon history: Utah's Kaelin Clay dropped the ball just short of a Utes touchdown following a 79-yard pass play. The Ducks recovered, with Joe Walker returning the ball 100 yards for an Oregon TD.

KEY MATCHUP

Oregon's running game against Utah's run defense. The Ducks running game, led by RB Royce Freeman, is ranked eighth in the nation and second in the Pac-12 (behind Arizona), with an average of 306.3 yards per game and 11 touchdowns. Utah's defense has allowed opponents an average of 105.7 yards per game and no touchdowns.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

UTAH: QB Travis Wilson is a question mark. He sat out of the victory over Fresno State last weekend after injuring his shoulder in the previous game against Utah State. His backup is Kendal Thompson.

OREGON: QB Vernon Adams is also an unknown. He broke the index finger on his throwing hand in the season opener and said he felt it in the loss to the Spartans. He sat out of last weekend's victory over Georgia State and backup Jeff Lockie took over.
