Rutgers star DT Darius Hamilton out for season with knee injury
Rutgers star defensive tackle Darius Hamilton will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury and could redshirt, reports Ryan Dunleavy of the Asbury Park Press.
Hamilton, a senior co-captain, acknowledged this week that he could return for a fifth year.
“Worst comes to worst, you redshirt and I’m here for another year with the guys that I came in with,” Hamilton said. “And I get to enjoy football one last time for Rutgers.”
Hamilton led Rutgers with 11.5 tackles for loss and six sacks in 2014 and was named to the All-Big Ten team.
