New Hampshire beats Central Connecticut 57-14

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) Adam Riese threw three touchdowns as New Hampshire rolled over Central Connecticut 57-14 on Saturday.

Riese - who played only the first half - finished with 188 yards for the Wildcats (2-2). Dalton Crossan rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown and caught a Riese pass for another score. Amechie Walker caught a pair of TD passes.

New Hampshire led 25-0 after a quarter on a field goal, touchdown passes to Walker and Crossan, a Crossan 33-yard run and a fumble recovery returned for a score by Ryan Farrell.

Backup QB Trevor Knight ran for another Wildcats touchdown early in the second quarter before the Blue Devils' Cameron Nash rushed for a 73-yard score with 5:14 to go before the break.

Riese threw two more touchdowns before the break and the Wildcats were up 46-7 at halftime.

Jacob Dolegala threw for 111 yards for the Blue Devils (1-3).
