Kendell Anderson leads William & Mary past Stony Brook 21-0

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) Kendell Anderson ran for 191 yards and two touchdowns to lead William & Mary to a 21-0 victory over Stony Brook on Saturday night.

Anderson had a 28-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, and added a 59-yard scoring run with 11:47 remaining.

Steve Cluley threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Caskin to cap a nine-play, 72-yard opening drive for the Tribe (2-1, 1-0 Colonial Athletic Association). Cluley was 14 of 23 for 165 yards passing without an interception.

Down 14-0 early in the fourth quarter, the Seawolves drove to the Tribe 26 but stalled when Joe Carbone threw an interception to Jared Velasquez. Anderson scored his second touchdown five plays later.

William & Mary held Stony Brook (2-1, 1-1 Colonial Athletic Association) to just 167 yards of total offense.
