Hot Water

We've all been bombarded with daily fantasy advertisements over the last few weeks and it appears that one of those services, FanDuel, accidentally slipped up. The company used images and likenesses of Georgia Tech players without permission, a big no-no in college athletics.

He might not be battling a legal issue like the folks at FanDuel, but Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer is also in semi-hot water after his comments following their loss to ECU last weekend. The longtime coach basically said non-conference games are exhibition games that carry almost no weight. It doesn't appear to be sitting well with many Hokie fans.

What a Joke

Vanderbilt got absolutely screwed during their loss to Ole Miss on Saturday. They recovered a muffed punt but one official threw his flag for fair catch interference. Check out this play and tell me you haven't lost all faith in humanity:

Cheerleaders Day

Here are the best cheerleaders of Week 4 from Athlon Sports to cheer you up after watching that pathetic call against Vandy.

Did you know that Gary Patterson was pretty darn close to becoming the Minnesota head coach in 2006? Here are some current FBS coaches that nearly led other programs.

So Creepy

St. Mary's College in Maryland was abandoned in 1972 and although almost every building has been torn down over the last four decades, one creepy altar remains. You must check out these photos.

Samuel L. Feeling Feisty

We're really confused why Samuel L. Jackson, a Georgia fan, called out Oregon after their blowout loss to Utah last weekend. Guess he's still rubbing it in their face from the Bulldogs and Ducks lone meeting ... a win for Georgia ... 38 years ago.

Yay for California!

Successful Business Trip

The Utes were all smiles after eviscerating Oregon in Eugene:

KD Isn't Happy

Former Texas basketball star Kevin Durant was asked if he had any words of encouragement for Charlie Strong during media day and he was clearly peeved by the question:
